ADEGA VICAPÃO - eis uma adega construida nos anos 80, com o intuito de produzir vinho, sob as novas tecnologias, assumindo-se assim como uma adega moderna. Embora o trabalho efectuado na vinha respeite a tradição vitivinícola da região, com o implemento de castas regionais (ex: Castelão e Trincadeira Preta), com a vindima manual, já o trabalho de lagaragem obedece às novas regras governamentais sobre higiene e segurança. Assim se produz um vinho carregado de tradição, mas feito à luz das novas prácticas tecnologicas. Esta adega produz vinho branco e vinho tinto, oriundo dos seus 5 hectares que rodeiam a vila de Aveiras de Cima. Sem dúvida vale a pena a visita a esta adega e se for em Setembro porque não participar na sua vindima?
CELLAR VICAPÃO - here is a winery built in the '80s, with the aim of producing wine under the new technologies, assuming as a modern winery. Although the work done in the vineyard respects the winemaking tradition of the region, with the implement of regional varieties (ex, Castelão e Trincadeira Preta), with a manual vintage, the work on the winery obey the new government rules on hygiene and safety. Thus it produces a wine full of tradition, but produced according the new technologies. The winery produces white wine and red wine, derived from their five acres surrounding the town of Aveiras de Cima. No doubt it's worth the visit to this winery and if it is made in September, why not participate in the harvest?
